It seems safe

To think bad things

Cannot touch in any way

It seems nice

And yet, untrue

For there always comes a day

A time when

Perfect worlds and

Prestine boxes crumble in

When the truth

Another speaks

Hits deeper than just the skin

When the dreams

You thought were gone

Rise within to make a mess

When you find

That nothing safe

Can deliver happiness

Rise and Fall

The sun rises to fall

And falls so it can rise

The flower blooms to grow

And grows knowing it dies

The moon emits its glow

Then fades back to the night

The soul loses its way

To rediscover light

Tomorrow

Grief catches in my throat

Like a pill I

Cannot swallow

The places you once filled

In my heart, now

Feel so hollow

We breathe and then we don't

That's the nature

Of existence

The end approaches and

We meet it with

Great resistance

But memories of you

Create a smile

Upon my face

Because the light you brought

Into my life

Can't be erased

You lived for every laugh

And you gave love

Through many tears

You made your presence known

As you broke down

Each wall of fears

So while today is hard

There will still be

A tomorrow

And I won't let myself

Fill more time with
