Glowing

Finally, he takes her hand

And pulls her to his heart

For too many lonely years

Their worlds have stayed apart

Always she craves the feeling

The magic of his light

That led her through the darkness

And loved her through the night

And though she is still learning

Joy has become a friend

Years and years of disappear

Wondering where it's been

But now, peace returns daily

She finds it in his eyes

In the way, he smiles and says

"Good morning", as they rise

And then he places a kiss

Upon her cheek, upon her lips

And she glows because she knows

This is bliss

Their song of life keeps playing

And hair starts to go gray

She thinks of when they first met

It seems like the same day

Wrinkles form, but deep inside

Her soul remains a child

Love's alive, and so with time

They're growing young and wild

And then he places a kiss

Upon her cheek, upon her lips

And she glows because she knows

This is bliss
